The city of Vienna offers a great quality of life. The food is good, the tap water is drinkable (unlike in other cities), the real estate is affordable (well, in comparison to Paris of London), the Vienna woods are nearby and the cultural happenings (exhibitions, concerts, etc.) are very international. And ambitious.
