The city’s ultimate concept store offers 500 meters of contemporary design on two floors designed by the architects SPACE+. The interior adamantly adheres to purist white: the walls, floors and ceilings, right down to the clothes hangers. PARK explores the intersection between different disciplines—art, industrial design, fashion—as demonstrated by the selection of books, design magazines, accessories and furniture juxtaposed with statement fashion from the likes of Hussein Chalayan and Haider Ackermann, to fabrics interseason and Peter Pilotto.

Realistically speaking, PARK is not a shop for everyone. But this era of limited editions and exclusivity only makes its existence all the more powerful. Few stores if any will carry a one-off pair of Raf Simons’ most ambitiously designed gloves alongside the conceptual symmetry of a Margiela skirt. PARK also displays its dedicated belief in young and often little-known designers of note, both local and international. Pay a visit to not necessarily find the trends of today, but the aura of tomorrow.
