MQ Halle E

Located between the Kunsthalle and the Mumok Halle E is an venue with a quite patchy program. Think of it as a catch-all hall for hire. Events range from Wiener Festwochen performances and the annual Electronic Beats Festival to rather dodgy but nonetheless spectacular events like the unveiling of the new VW Golf or the thousandth resurrection of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Though the events at the former imperial stables are hit-or-miss, the architecture’s combination of baroque and modern elements is, as always at the MQ, a sure shot.
