Badeschiff

Docked on the Donaukanal, the Badeschiff is a welcome addition to Viennese party scene. For daytime and early evening diversions, this self-declared “leisure island” has an on-deck open air municipal swimming pool and bar/restaurant. The nightlife action is concentrated in the Laderaum (loading room) on the lower level of the ship.

The Badeschiff became especially popular after hosting an onslaught of new and exciting Myspace-era electro parties, including Myy Bitchh Clubb, Pola-riot, Sex Beat, WRCKD, Pling Plong, Less Talk More Rock, Kegawa Klub and the Susi Klub (a construction shack facing the ship initiated by a group of architecture students). Acts like The Presets, Final Fantasy, Krazy Baldhead and Mel Merio have all performed here.

Even though some of the party tribes have moved on, the new events fill those slots include the Crystal Ship, Booom and Ost Klub. After establishing itself as a hotspot on the nightlife map, the Badeschiff will definitely remain a venue for more events that are not to be missed.
