Mia Zabelka: Mia's Factory Album Presentation

Mia Zabelka is an electric violinist, multimedia artist and curator, a three-time winner of the Ars Electronica prize and numerous other awards. With her new album she presents “la cooperation electroacoustique” between profoundly contrasting contemporary artists. From Still, experimental turntablist and former member of the noise-hop group Dälek to Sofa Surfers I-Wolf to Electric Indigo. They all interact in an constant exchange of musical ideas to create accoustic landscapes. Zabelka calls it ambient noise.

Tonight at Rhiz on the occasion of her CD launch, Zabelka will perform with her circle of collaborators including Martin Philadelphy, I-Wolf, Electric Indigo and Tina Frank.
