Viennese artist, musician (this guy’s originally responsible for post-retired crooner Louie Austen coming back to life), cart racer and former bodybuilder, Mario Neugebauer, creates gestural paintings often working collage elements into the pieces, interrupting the abstract flow of the work.

With a focus on (as the exhibition’s title suggests) luxury goods and machines, Neugebauer creates worlds where the shimmer of muscle cars and tire rims are indistinct from the latest brand-name enhanced hand bag or watch.
