The political satire group, maschek., are finally back in Vienna with their puppetry and dubbed television clips. Guerrilla media—or whatever you want to call it—doesn’t get much better than this. Who can refuse clips of politicians “talking” crap about their colleagues or their sex lives? For ten years now they have told the real story behind the Staatsvertragsunterzeichnung or what happens at the chancellor’s home. So please get rid of your remote control, even if it’s just for one night. This may also be the best excuse you have to check out the freshly restored Rabenhof Theater in its proletariat Art Deco glory.
