Momus (named after the Greek god of satire) is a Scottish musician, blogger and performance artist. His snappy and absurd writing, both in his songs and essays published in magazines like Wired, has created an aura around the eccentric artist.
His performances—like his work for the 2006 Whitney Biennial as an “unreliable tour guide” with political to absurd commentaries—are always humorous and slightly confounding. He performs tonight, though what exactly can only be revealed on site.
