Austrian Design in Tokyo
For five days, from 30 October to 3 November 2009, the spots of the international design world will be set on Japan, as the Tokyo Designers’ Week, the Asian design hotspot, attracts enthusiasts from all over the world to marvel and to celebrate in this Japanese metropolis. Within the framework of the Tokyo edition of 100% Design, the Vienna Tourist Board and Juland BarcelonaVienna will also present selected Austrian design under the focus Spot on Wien – Austrian Flashing Design and Music.
In a dazzling exhibition and a series of collateral events the selected designers from Austria will be set in the limelight of a greater audience
From 26 March to 3 May 2009, professional designers from Austria are called to submit their ‘spot on’ creations on PureAustrianDesign to present them during Tokyo Design Fair – without any costs for transportation and exhibition.
